Storm Shelters in Webb City, MO
Shelter and safe room requests for Webb City, next door to Joplin.
Webb City is a small city in Jasper County that sits right next door to Joplin. The EF5 tornado that tore through Joplin on May 22, 2011 is a big reason people around here think hard about having a shelter at home.
Your choices are the same as they are in Joplin. You can go underground in the yard, set a steel shelter in the garage, or have a safe room built inside the house.
Before you buy anything, ask the City of Webb City whether you'll need a permit for it. Rules can change over time, so it's always better to ask before the work starts.
